Ellen’s Place, East Irondequoit, NY

HSE partnered with Pardi Architects on these new apartments built by Episcopal SeniorLife Communities on Brower Road in East Irondequoit, NY.

Ellen’s Place is a 69,000 square foot multi-story apartment building with 74 moderately priced units for Seniors, on-site health and wellness programing, a café, community kitchen and fitness area.

HSE engineers designed  this building’s wood roof and floor trusses, wood bearing walls and foundations to support the design gravity loads.

We further designed the necessary lateral force resisting system, including wood shear walls or braced walls and connections that were required.
