Wegmans Food Markets Various Locations

Project Description

The facility consists of a 150,000 s.f., partial three-story food market and a 180,000 s.f., two-story parking structure. The food market is constructed on normal spread footings and utilizes a combination of light gauge, masonry and precast concrete walls. Structural floor slabs are composite steel and concrete on metal deck construction supported by steel columns. The roof system is constructed of steel joists, joist girders, wide-flange beams and steel deck. A structural steel framed octagonal cupola and clock tower decorate the storefront. The parking structure is constructed on normal spread footings and utilizes cast-in-place concrete retaining walls and concrete columns to support the elevated parking deck. The parking deck is cast-in-place reinforced concrete. Precast concrete arches and stone retaining walls decorate the structure.
