Design Description

This proposed facility is a one-story addition of approximately 18,000 s.f. to the existing structure. Approximately 11,800 s.f. of that area is to have a concrete slab-on-grade first floor with the remaining 6200 s.f. to be a structural slab over a full-depth basement with reinforced concrete masonry foundation walls. The addition also includes an elevator shaft, covered porch, and drive-thru on the east side. The roof system design was accomplished using a light gage metal structural system.
