Crossroads Garage Rochester, New York

Design Description

The crossroads garage was suffering extensive damage to it's two main interior cast-in-place concrete structural decks as a result of the corrosion of the steel reinforcing and buried conduits. The main emphasis of the repair project was to cut the bad concrete from beneath the decks, repair the corroded reinforcement and repair the concrete by shotcrete. Additional features of the program were to repair beams and columns using the same technique, repair delaminated overlays by epoxy injection, replace drains and drain piping, provide a new elastomeric traffic bearing waterproof membrane and provide new lighting.
